CARLINK RENTALS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Insurance, Covers and Waiver

All car rates include: Third party insurance, unlimited kilometers, delivery and collection at your own place, return policy at a different place, V.A.T, local taxes, maintenance oil and greasing and free 24/7 road assistance.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

Comprehensive insurance for accidents. If this is the renters fault, then there is always an excess to pay unless SCDW has been purchased at the time of rental.
The excess varies according to car group. This insurance cost is included in your rental agreement price.

Cover Agreements

At the car hire counter, you may decide to buy additional cover to reduce your excess, or to cover things your Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) does not, such as tires and windscreen. Policy excludes things such as windscreens, glass, wheels, tires, undercarriage, interior, personal belongings, sidemirrors, towing charges & off-road time – as well as any ‘extra equipment’ hired as child seats and GPS devices. Note that your cover will be invalidated by negligence, refueling errors or breaking the terms of the rental agreement (for example, by driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or driving on roads other than tarmac or asphalt).

Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW)

Purchased by the customer at the time of rental by an extra cost of 10 euro per day. This insurance reduces the amount of excess payable by the customer in the event of an accident that is their fault.

Theft protection (TP)

Purchased by the customer at the time of rental. This insurance covers against theft or attempted theft of the vehicle e.g. broken locks or windows. If this insurance is not taken then the customer is fully responsible for the cost of the damage, or a replacement vehicle if it is stolen and not recovered. The cost of this insurance is €4.50 per day.
